and there's more summertime fun.....

Okay, so yes, I have more!  I really intended to blog my heart away this summer and never got into it.  Now that I am posting, I see how fun this really is!  I enjoy stamping so much. Sharing something I have created (or cased) is a thrill for me.  I love knowing something I handmade for a family member or friend is being enjoyed by them.
Anyway...here's more!  I apologize that the bottom is blurry from my flash.
The first pic is one I made for my sister-in-law to hold her Disney Gift Certificate that my great aunts gave to her and my brother for the disney honeymoon cruise.  The scallop circle is SU's Sizzix Scallop Cirlce and the Mickey Mouse is from cuttlebug. I made the swivel card using all SU materials except the Mickey Mouse and red gingham ribbon.   The cardstock is real red, whisper white and basic black.
I really wanted to make a bunch of these to send to Mickey Mouse lovers as birthday cards, etc but that hasn't happened yet.....to do list, here I come!

More pics from Summertime Stamping

Both of these pictures are of the book I made my sister-in-law for her to use at both of her bridal showers.  It has a place to put a picture of each party, lists the gifts received and addresses of attendees.  Yes, you caught me as it isn't all SU materials....however the background paper was too cute not to use.

3 months have gone by...where have i been!!!

Hello and Yes I am back!  With new vim and vigor, I am going to commit to posting at least three times a week.  So, you ask, what have I been doing for the past three months???
I have been enjoying summer, helping to throw a bridal shower for my soon-to-be-sister-in-law, enjoying my three year old neice and getting ready for a disney cruise at the end of september. It has been a fun and busy summer however I am SO, SO, SO ready for the cool weather of fall. Before I leave summer behind, I will post pictures of various cards I have made this summer. Enjoy!

The picture above is of the thank you cards and favor I made for the bridal shower. The smaller thank you was for the hosts of the bridal shower to give them with their gifts. The thank you card made with the Top Note (one of my fave's ever made by me) was given by me to my sister-in-law along with adorable USPS wedding ring postage stamps so she could write her thank you's. Hope you enjoy!
